I cant begin to describe how wonderful and educational the Orlando “Inspire Smart Success” was this past week!!! I was fortunate to meet some amazing Wedding industry friends and celebrities (and mentors!)

Stacie Francombe and April Dorsey
But enough about me! I couldn’t have done this without the help and assistance of my great partner Bonny Bailey who helped me make this event a success.

Bonny Bailey
And our newest member, Luis Hilson (who is AWESOME!!!!)What a team (THANK YOU BOTH!!!!!)

And two of my dearest friends, photographers Garrett Frandsen and Mariana Herrera Mosli for taking such amazing photos. You MUST check out their websites to get a good look at their talent.
Not only did we gain some valuable information about the industry (when I say WOW, that was a great learning experience!!! That is an understatement!!!)
TOTALLY a fun evening and I would like to thank our sponsors for the evening- DJ Carl, Our DJ Rocks, and Over the top Linen. And of course the venue that everyone falls in love with The Waldorf Astoria- Orlando
The second day the Experience continued. When I say that this panel was so inspiring and informative- yup another understatement!

Did you happen to notice so many awesome details??? It was so much fun for The D-tales to do what we do best- Deliver the stories that last a lifetime!!!! If you have a chance to make it to the next one in your city…….. don’t miss it! And a special thank you to Stacie Francombe for choosing The D-Tales for the Orlando ISSE event.

I read an article this morning about Customer service- “We have all experienced it – bad customer service. It seems to come out of nowhere and always has the capacity to ruin a perfectly beautiful day. It is in that moment, when we are blind-sided by a wall of indifference, every one of us quietly whispers to ourselves, “I’d never do that to any of my customers.”
Everybody wants to take care of their customers, yet why is good customer service so hard to find? It is our motto at The D-Tales to
“Under promise and over deliver!”
1. Exceed your expectations. We ask a ton of questions and open the lines of communication- WIDE OPEN (ask any of our past brides! We respond and deliver! READ MORE)
2. We value our brides. We want to make you feel important and appreciated.
You are going through one of the most exciting and stressful times in your lives. So we go out of our way to make you feel special. Your wedding is extremely important to us and we always pass on ideas and specials that help you plan your wedding AND save money.
3. We keep emotions in check. We all have good and bad days, but that is not YOUR business. You will never hear us complain about a bad day or a bad situation. We promise to give you the best of everything we have!
4. If we mess up, we own it and apologize. We all understand that things go wrong and we try to anticipate every possible obstacle but when they do, we want you to know that we are sorry and we will do everything possible to fix it! We deal with problems immediately and let you know what we’ve done to fix it. A small problem can magnify if not tended to immediately. Likewise, a big mistake can be greatly minimized if addressed quickly. So we aren’t afraid to own it, fix it and move on.
5. We make it easy for you to be open with us. Despite our best efforts, you still might have some issues with your event that you’re unaware of. We make it easy for you to let us know your opinions or if you think something went wrong. Although complaints can sometimes be hard to hear, learning what’s gone wrong helps us to learn what to do right the next time.
Like it or not, good customer service is essential for our business. At the D-Tales we value each and every bride as if they were the only one!
To our past and present brides, THANK YOU for trusting us with your biggest day! We really do appreciate you <3
An effervescent addition to the D-Tales family has arrived and it is always exciting to announce such great expansions! I would like to officially welcome Bonny Bailey to The D-Tales. Working with her has been a joy and I have to admit, a lot of fun! She shares many of my thoughts and ideas but the most important one was a passion for good cake and organization!!!! In all seriousness, I have had the pleasure of knowing Bonny and working with her. I know a good thing when I see it and knew that she is the perfect addition to our services. Bonny is a true southerner who grew up learning the advantages of etiquette, charm, elegance, and style.

Many of you may know Bonny from her last position in the Orlando area, where she created and executed over 300 weddings. I loved working with that venue as there was always an opportunity for surprise. One of my favorite ceremonies was when both the bride and groom zip-lined from the roof to the alter. Yes, the bride was in a gorgeous wedding gown and the crowed cheered!
So Orlando, wait till you see all the new things that are about to come! A very exciting 2011 for sure!
Now, please join me in officially welcoming Bonny to The D-Tales!
